Conversion using the VA to KW Formula
How to Calculate KW from VA and power factor pf using AC current.
The Real Power P in Kilowatts kw is calculated as the apparent Power S in volt-amps VA times the Power factor pf, divided by 1000. Plug these values into the formula:
For Example, let's convert 5500 VA with a power factor of 0.8 to kilowatts.
